Terms of sale
These terms apply to every purchase from bennstorey.com. Please read them before ordering. They don't affect your statutory rights.
Who we are
This website is run by Benn Storey Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09175848), registered office Shadwell House, 65 Lower Green Road, Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 8TW. VAT number 502977286. You can reach us through the contact form.
Prices and VAT
Prices include VAT. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. If a work is listed at the wrong price, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Your order
Your order is accepted when we email to confirm it. We may decline an order, for example if a work has sold out; if we do, you'll receive a full refund.
Editions and certificates
Each work is released as a limited edition of five (total) across all sizes. Every print is an archival C-type print on Fuji Crystal Archive paper, signed and numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Once an edition is sold out, it is not reprinted.
Artist proofs are created (maximum two) but are not released for sale at this time.
Prints are made to order, so please allow time for printing before dispatch. Colours can look different on different screens, and a print may vary slightly from how it appears on your device.
Delivery
Unframed prints are sent rolled in a heavy-duty protective tube. International delivery is available for unframed prints only. You can also collect from the studio in Clapham, London, by arrangement. Responsibility for the print passes to you on delivery or collection.
Your right to cancel
If you change your mind, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your print. Let us know through the contact form, then return the print undamaged, in its original packaging, within 14 days of telling us. You pay the return postage. We'll refund the price of the print and the standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving it back.
This right doesn't apply to work made to your specification, such as bespoke sizes or framing.
If your print arrives damaged
Please tell us within 14 days of delivery and send photographs of the damage and the packaging. To protect the edition, we'll ask you to destroy the damaged print – for example by tearing it in half – and send a photograph as proof. We'll then send you a replacement at no cost.
Damage after delivery
If a print is damaged after delivery, including by a framer, we can replace it for the cost of printing, payable by you or the framer. The damaged print must be destroyed, with photographic proof, before the replacement is sent.
Copyright
Copyright in all images remains with Benn R. Storey. Buying a print gives you ownership of that print, not the right to reproduce the image in any form.
Our liability
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
Your personal information
We use your details only to process your order and keep in touch if you've asked us to. See our privacy policy.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies.
